Tetavon

The city of Tetavon is an old city, sited on a low rise of hills that looks down over the main river of xxxxx and originally established during The Crusade. Administered by a city guard and protected by a reasonably well-armed militia unit of soldiers, it is the main trade center for the Kingdom of Tetavon, and the surrounding duchies. Large centers of trade reside in Tetavon and it is said that “If it is made or can be acquired, it will be found in the markets and alleyways of Tetavon”. Many businesses, both legit and illicit, are located here.

Despite the best efforts of the City Guard and the local Nobles, a thriving Thieves Guild is based here. The Band of Four Fingers, as it is known, controls the traffic in illegitimate goods and services in Tetavon. While open thieving is frowned on and is ruthlessly controlled by the Guild, minor thievery is viewed as life in the city and the Guild looks the other when the thieving is limited to street urchins and orphans trying to make their daily bread. Characters who are subject to incidents can make contact with the Guild and if the characters are of sufficient level or notoriety, the Guild attempt to rectify the situation, unless of course the Guild was behind the action, in which case they will deny the actions dn attempt to thwart the investigations that might be triggered by the characters.

The Altstadt, or Old City, is located in the northwest central portion of the city and King Lewdorff’s castle, known as the Black Keep, is also located there.
